I will be speaking at the Atlanta Writers Club April Meeting! I’m the second speaker and my topic is: Through the Eyes of Your Characters. A short talk/reading, short activity, and Q & A about writing, publishing or my experiences as an author. Hope to see everyone there!
I am delighted and honored to teach a workshop on writing suspense at the Atlanta Writing Workshop on March 10th near Perimeter Mall. This is an all-day event and a great opportunity for you to meet agents and allow them to meet you and your work! Check it out: https://atlantawritingworkshop.com Sign up now. Time's a 'wastin' !
I will be critiquing first 10 pages of manuscripts - Suspense or Literary Fiction
The local chapter of Sisters in Crime is holding an Author Event at the Decatur Library on Saturday, June 10th. Two panels, the traditionally and the non-traditionally- published, will speak on our experiences.
I'll be on the Traditional Panel from 1:30-2:30.
Plenty of opportunity for chatting and book-buying.
All are welcome! Hope to see you there!

I will be hand-selling THE POCKET WIFE and some of my favorite books between noon and two o'clock the Saturday afternoon after Thanksgiving! Please come and see me! This is such a wonderful independent bookstore and the one where I did my launch! There will be lots of signed and favorite holiday books!
"Two years ago Sherman Alexie came up with a simple but powerful way for us to be what he called 'superheroes for independent bookstores.' He named it Indies First. To participate, authors and illustrators had only to show up at their local independent bookstores on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and hand-sell books. More than 1,100 of his colleagues did." I am proud to be asked to participate this year!
